What I learned at Giftival

By Joserra González

Giftival wasn’t a conference. It was an experiment — a live exploration of what community, collaboration, and generosity can look like when we meet without titles, agendas, or roles to perform. Over three days, changemakers, neighbors, families, entrepreneurs, educators, and artists gathered in the Valles Pasiegos to practice something simple yet rare: being fully human together.

From invisible leadership to the end of subtle hierarchies, from shared chores to deep listening circles, the gathering became a living example of the world many of us are trying to build. In this article, I share some of the learnings that emerged — along with reflections and quotes from participants whose voices capture the spirit of this transformative weekend.
